Alexandria, Virginia -  US Army Futures Command Army Aviation Capabilities Development Integration Center has awarded warfighter technology leader, JHNA, a 5-year contract to support the U.S. Army Futures Command's Army Aviation Capabilities Development Integration Center, Concepts, Experimentation and Analysis Directorate (CEAD), and Aviation Maneuver Battle Laboratory (AMBL). Project work began on August 28th in Fort Novosel, Alabama, with a primary purpose of developing Aviation future concepts, required capabilities, studies, and gap analyses. 

“Working with Army Futures Command on this project will allow JHNA to have a much more significant impact on the success of our future aviators while we continue our mission to digitally engineer our Warfighter's future,” said Ian Northrop, CEO, JHNA. “It is through advanced engineering work like this, where we are actively solving the most challenging and technical Warfighter problems, that JHNA will cement our legacy within Army aviation.”

CEAD develops future aviation concepts and plans and conducts experiments to support the evaluation and refinement of these concepts, develop supporting data and analysis for requirements determination and identify and document capability gaps.

The work is slated to continue until August 2029.
